In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists' time, we have adopted the following policies:
Your therapist will arrive to your location 15 minutes prior to your previously arranged appointment time to give plenty of time to set and an conduct a verbal intake of your goals for your treatment. Please provide a sufficient space for your therapist to set up a massage table, and if receiving a treatment with hot stones, have an electrical outlet readily available.
It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any current medical treatment, medications being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician in order to provide treatment. This ensures the safety and well-being of the client and protect liability of your therapist.
Information gathered during your massage session is strictly confidential. Questions regarding your health may be asked during your session to accurately gauge levels of stress, extent of injuries, or personal goals in the treatment.
Clients are draped during massage treatments. Each area being worked on will be uncovered, massaged, then recovered. Draping is required and is used for the purpose of warmth and professionalism. Undergarments can also be worn under the drape at clients' discretion.
Inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of your session without refund.
At Blue Ridge Mobile Massage, we are licensed and insured therapists held the highest standard in the profession.
We cannot diagnose or prescribe medical conditions. Our services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical attention for specific conditions.
Please provide at least 12 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a massage. This gives us enough time to fill your slot with another appointment. If a client fails to cancel within 12 hours, the client will forfeit their fee paid in advance for the massage.
At Blue Ridge Mobile Massage, we understand that unanticipated events can occur. If you are feeling sick or unwell, please let your therapist know, so that we may reschedule your appointment.
